UNIBUILD TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT
SUPPORT FOR THE UNIBUILD TECHNOLOGY UNDER LICENCE

The Unibuild Technology acquired by the Licencee under Licence is an historical record of plans, details, photographs and project management spreadsheets as defined in the Schedule.

Unibuild will support the integrity of this documentation during the period of the Licence, and further documentation will be made available as other Unibuild Licencee projects are completed and the plans, details and photographs edited for distribution to Unibuild Licencees worldwide.

Of all the Unibuild projects developed to date, rarely have two projects been identical. The Unibuild Licencee is expected to draw on the completed available data and project these details into future projects.

Unibuild’s R & D is on going and future developments will be passed on to all Licencees when ready for publication.

If a Licencee has a question, Unibuild’s office is open for discussion and solution.
Schedule 6 of the Licencee Agreement, ‘Technical Training” will define the parameters of Unibuild support required by the Licencee following negotiations.

Most R & D organizations develop “spin off” technologies. In Unibuild’s case, specialist project management software was developed to assist large commercial developments. Of these, two projects have special significance,

1. The Darwin Commercial and Performing Arts Centres were managed using the Unibuild Project Documentation Control System, a software programme, which identified and data based every document relating to the contract documents. The database was accessed to supply reports on any aspect of design and construction, cost, and any other item field. During the course of construction over many years, not one document was lost in “the system”.

2. Australia’s new Parliament House, Canberra, was completed using the Unibuild “Punch List” System, a database that listed over 8000 spaces and the outstanding work required to complete these spaces. Reports were generated in “trade sequence” for all contractors, suppliers, supervisors and others to complete the works in an orderly and controlled sequence. This Unibuild database was “rolled over” on completion to service the Client’s requirements, including furniture, fittings and other items.
